Job summary

TERADYNE in Laguna, Philippines seeks an experienced engineering leader to supervise maintenance teams, install new machines, and troubleshoot HDD test systems. You will shape maintenance plans, manage schedules, and communicate with customers on plans and progress.

This role requires a strong mechatronics background, 5+ years in HDD test systems or related automation, and excellent English communication. Willingness to travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronics fundamentals.
• Experience leading a team and interacting with customers is essential.
• Experience with HDD test systems or precise automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and manage employee work plans and schedules.
• Oversee new machine installation projects with timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HDD test systems and smart storage machines.
• Continuously improve troubleshooting methods and processes.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans and execution.
• Fluent in 8D reports using FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why, 4W1H.
• Conduct regular meetings with customers and provide service reports.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnership.
