Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and reliability across our plant locations. You will review manuals, develop procedures, and lead repairs to ensure equipment uptime.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work across sites. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in plant and visit other locations.

Responsibilities

• Review service manuals and maintenance records to determine preventive maintenance frequency.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance program using industry standards.
• Provide support in implementing maintenance program components.
• Assess machines/equipment for preventive maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with projects on equipment requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and lead repairs.
• Create maintenance and requisition reports.
• Maintain and update maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and supervise their activities.
• Oversee installation plans for new equipment.
