Job summary

PM Consulting seeks a Senior AP Specialist in Makati for hybrid dayshift. The role drives global AP methodologies, oversees daily AP operations, and maintains strong controls while coordinating with international partners.

You will lead recruitment, mentor staff, and manage performance while ensuring accurate, timely payables and compliance. Strong English communication is essential for cross-border stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or financial operations, with 1-3 years in a team lead/supervisory role.
• Experience in Shared Services/BPO or professional legal services is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Elite 3E or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and drive organizational change.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication for cross-border collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential financial data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Accounts Payable, driving global standardized AP methodologies across internal partners and vendors.
• Manage daily team operations to ensure payables are coded, authorized, recorded in the correct period, tax-compliant, and settled on terms.
• Support leadership in maintaining internal controls, refining AP policies/workflows, and driving process improvements.
• Coordinate with international AP teams, regional stakeholders, and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and payment discrepancies.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and skill development assessments for regularization decisions.
• Conduct goal-setting, performance reviews, and personal development plans to boost team engagement.
• Oversee team timekeeping, transitions, and serve as escalation point for HR/admin matters.
