Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Landside Product Manager (PH) to own and grow the Landside product portfolio, focusing on Customs (MCS) and First Mile (FM) solutions. The role blends product ownership with business development, driving revenue, margins, and pipeline conversion while ensuring compliance.

The candidate will lead end-to-end product performance, define strategy, manage pricing and RFQs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in logistics with landside operations and business development.
• Experience in product, operations, or sales with clear P&L ownership and commercial accountability.
• Strong understanding of haulage operations (port-to-port) and Indonesia's customs processes and systems.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance growth and margin discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to assess deal profitability and make Go/No-Go decisions.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable, operationally viable product solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of the Landside product portfolio with focus on Customs (MCS) and First Mile solutions.
• Drive product strategy, offerings, and bundled logistics solutions aligned with customer needs and priorities.
• Act as product-led business development owner, driving pipeline creation, qualification, and conversion.
• Own and deliver revenue, gross profit, and margin performance including RFQs, pricing governance, and approvals.
• Lead Go/No-Go decision-making based on product fit, feasibility, and risk considerations.
• Ensure strong operational alignment and cost optimisation across vendors and productivity levers.
• Maintain compliance with Indonesia's customs regulations and broader trade requirements.
• Monitor KPIs: revenue & GP growth, GP margin, pipeline conversion, loss-making accounts, costs, service performance.
