Job summary

San Miguel Foods is seeking a skilled Labor Relations professional in Metro Manila to lead policy development, investigations, and resolution of employee relations issues. You will collaborate with management, unions, and government agencies to ensure compliant labor practices.

You will conduct investigations, guide managers on disciplinary cases, support CBA negotiations, and implement labor relations programs that strengthen organizational alignment with Philippine labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Legal Management, Communication Arts, Social Science/Political Science, Economics or related field.
  • Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor
  • At least 2 to 5 years related experience in labor and employee relations.
  • Ability to create, review and formulate LR policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, administrative investigations, grievance handling, and CBA processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support administrative investigations, including case documentation and reporting.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Maintain and analyze labor relations and administrative case records to recommend preventive measures.
  • Support Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations, implementation, and labor-management relations.
  • Partner with labor unions, employee representatives, and government agencies (e.g., DOLE).
  • Assist in grievance handling, mediation, and dispute resolution.
  • Lead or support labor relations projects, organizational restructuring initiatives, and policy implementation.
  • Conduct employee and management orientations on company policies, labor relations, code of conduct, anti-sexual harassment, conflict of interest, and other compliance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws and company labor relations policies.
  • Prepare labor relations reports and provide insights to support management decisions.
