Job summary

ScalableOS in Makati, Philippines is seeking an experienced L3 Support Engineer to rapidly address user-reported technical issues. The role emphasizes remote troubleshooting, patching, and security remediation within a MSP-focused environment.

You will work with Hyper-V/VMware, AD services, and VPN/DNS/DHCP configurations, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure swift incident resolution and thorough documentation. Night shifts and long-term remote work are expected.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication of technical information to non-technical audiences.
Punctual and able to work in client meetings and training sessions.
Adherence to client SOPs and strong teamwork.
Ability to manage time and work with minimal supervision.
Experience with Microsoft Server 2008+ and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Remediate alerts from monitoring platforms.
Remediate security vulnerabilities from the security team.
Remediate missing patches and updates from the centralized service team.
Assist with remote deployment tasks prior to physical deployment.
Remote troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
Perform system and appliance updates including server OS upgrades and firmware tasks.
Hyper-V and VMware hypervisor troubleshooting and upgrades.
Assist with after-hours configuration changes.
Engage with clients/vendors during outages per escalation plans.
Document resolutions and processes in the ticketing system.
Create technical documentation for client processes and tools.
Suggest improvements to support processes.
