Job summary

Citco Group Limited is seeking an experienced AML/KYC professional to lead the Investor AMLCDD AsiaPac team from Manila. You will manage a team, handle complex queries, and ensure timely production of CDD files while maintaining compliance with evolving AML regulations.

The role requires 5+ years in AML/KYC within Private Equity or Hedge Funds, 3+ years in leadership, and strong Excel/Office skills. Collaboration with Investor Relations and senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds with exposure to outsourcing.
• At least 3+ years’ experience in managing a team.
• Excellent knowledge of AML Regulations; Cayman and Singapore expertise preferable.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Able to multi-task with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance related.
• 3-7 years relevant experience in AML/KYC.

Responsibilities

• Act as a central point and coordinator on the Investor AMLCDD AsiaPac team.
• Manage your team of Investor AMLCDD specialists day-to-day including complex query management and case handling.
• Responsible for staffing management, training and development of staff.
• Manage escalations on a timely basis including liaison with local office and/or clients.
• Manage and monitor the timing and quality of deliverables (SLAs).
• Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the wider Investor AMLCDD team.
• Interact directly with senior management and clients.
• Understand current client needs/strategies and anticipate future client needs.
• Preparing investor and client CDD files for review by the KYC/AML Manager.
• Maintaining an overview of complete and incomplete CDD records and ensuring action is taken to complete all CDD records.
