Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking an Investor Services Manager in Manila to lead and oversee the CDD function, ensuring compliance and top-tier service delivery. You will coordinate with the client, Luxembourg Regulatory Team, and other stakeholders to manage high-risk cases and escalations.

You will coach a team of 7 Officers and 2 Senior Officers, drive process improvements, and support audits while maintaining staff development and ownership. Proficiency in English and German is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Compliance experience with strong expertise in AML/KYC, preferably within domiciliation/transfer agency.
• Strong interest in regulatory matters, compliance frameworks, and evolving industry requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willing and able to work EMEA hours/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the CDD function.
• Act as primary point of contact for client, Regulatory Team in Luxembourg, compliance teams, investors, and stakeholders.
• Governance and escalations: review high-risk CDD cases and sanctions-related escalations.
• Ensure robust quality assurance controls: file reviews and regulatory adherence.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections with documentation and remediation plans.
• Manage resource planning, capacity forecasting, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality CDD services and monitor KPIs and risks.
• Provide subject matter expertise on AML/KYC/CDD matters, including complex ownership structures, PEPs, and source of wealth assessments.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
