A local staffing agency in Metro Manila is seeking a kitchen helper to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, assisting with food prep, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The ideal candidate should be at least high school level, hardworking, and reliable, with a willingness to learn. Training will be provided, making this position suitable for those with or without experience.

Description du poste

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed (e.g., peeling, cutting, sorting ingredients)
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of food waste and garbage
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Refill kitchen supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
• Support inventory organization and proper storage of kitchen tools and equipment
• Report damaged or missing kitchen equipment to the supervisor
• Comply with company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• At least high school level or equivalent
• With or without experience (training will be provided)
• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and safety practices is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to work long hours standing
• Hardworking, reliable, and willing to follow instructions
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
