Job summary

The Moment Group is seeking an Inventory/Stock Clerk for our kitchen operations in Manila. The role focuses on accurate counts, proper storage, and timely reporting of discrepancies to ensure product quality and minimize loss.

You will maintain organized cold and dry storage, verify incoming meat quality, and ensure older stock is used first, while collaborating with Kitchen Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience as Stockman/Inventory Clerk or Storekeeper in hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, deliveries, and spoilage recording.
• Ability to follow strict storage and handling protocols.
• Basic math and counting skills for inventories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and weekly physical counts of high-value items and ingredients.
• Verify freshness and quality of incoming meat shipments (temperatures, color, use-by-dates).
• Strict implementation of protocols to ensure older stock is used before new deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, labelled, and organized walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage area.
• Cross-reference physical deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery notes to ensure accuracy in mass and quantity.
• Immediately report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missed deliveries to the Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Record all "spoilage" (expired meat, spilled spices) to help management identify patterns and reduce loss.
