Job summary

South Meats is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support our Imus, Cavite operations. You will receive deliveries, verify against packing slips, and log inventory into digital systems.

You will track stock movements, perform regular stock takes, and coordinate with Sales and Purchasing to ensure smooth operations. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with butchery and slaughter plant inventories required.
• Basic computer skills: inventory software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process deliveries, verify against packing slips and log inventory.
• Track and update digital stock records and locations.
• Audit and reconcile stock with regular physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Organize and stock items in designated areas; maintain clean storage/work areas.
• Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and issues for management.
• Coordinate with sales and purchasing for smooth operations.
• Identify defective or expired products and manage quality control.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests.

Job Description:

• Receive & Process: Accept deliveries, verify against packing slips, and log new inventory.
• Track & Update: Maintain accurate digital records of stock levels, movements, and location.
• Audit & Reconcile: Perform regular physical counts (stocktakes) and investigate/resolve discrepancies.
• Organize & Stock: Arrange items in designated areas, keep storage clean, and stock shelves or showroom floors.
• Report: Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and issues for management.
• Coordinate: Liaise with other departments (sales, purchasing) for smooth operations.
• Quality Control: Identify and handle defective or expired products.
• Order/Restock: Monitor low stock levels and initiate reorder requests.

Qualifications

• Essential Skills & QualificationsHigh school diplomaStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
