Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join the team at OMG Olvida and Myra's Grill in Mabini, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher, you will be an essential part of our hospitality team, ensuring that our chefs and kitchen staff have clean equipment and utensils to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role is vital to the smooth running of our kitchen and the overall success of our restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store dishes, glassware, cutlery and cooking equipment using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces and storage areas

• Assist in food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients under the guidance of kitchen staff

• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Stock and organise kitchen supplies, ingredients and equipment in designated areas

• Support kitchen staff by performing general maintenance and organisation duties

• Follow all food safety and health and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment

• Respond promptly to requests from chefs and kitchen supervisors to maintain smooth kitchen operations
