Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning of ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens and other cooking appliances
• Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes meet company standards before they are served to customers
• Support the kitchen team in meal service during peak hours, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery
• Rotate and store food items correctly, following food safety and storage protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with inventory management and reporting of food stock levels

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning of ingredients
