Job summary

FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS is hiring a Kitchen Helper and Cook for our Bonifacio Global City food court in Taguig. This full-time role focuses on supporting kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, and delivering quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work with the culinary team to uphold food safety standards, assist with plating, monitor temperatures, and help manage inventory and deliveries to ensure smooth service throughout peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning produce, meats, and other food items according to recipes and portion control standards
• Support the cooking process by monitoring food preparation, ensuring proper cooking temperatures, and maintaining food quality throughout service
• Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, fryers, grills, and food processors in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen station, including regular sanitisation of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure consistency and visual appeal
• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when stock levels are low
• Adhere to all food safety protocols, allergen awareness requirements, and hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination
• Support the wider kitchen team during peak service times, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of meals
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and correct quantities
• Support waste management and recycling procedures to minimise environmental impact
