• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic math skills for portion control and inventory management.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Assist in food preparation including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning of ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens and other cooking appliances.
• Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes meet company standards before they are served to customers.
• Support the kitchen team in meal service during peak hours, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery.
• Rotate and store food items correctly, following food safety and storage protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with inventory management and reporting of food stock levels.
