Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a versatile kitchen associate to support breakfast and lunch production, assist serving lines, and participate in occasional catering events. The role covers all kitchen positions and requires adherence to recipes and quality standards.

You will manage line setups, food temperatures, inventory, and equipment operation, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and providing courteous hospitality to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
• Basic math skills for portions and counts.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO stock practices.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and equipment; manage dishwashing area.
• Assist in inventory and requisitioning via the Kitchen Manager; present foods to customers with good presentation.
