Responsibilities
- Assist in chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Follow recipes and instructions to prepare ingredients or assist in cooking meals.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
Supporting the Kitchen Team
- Help cooks with cooking or assembling food items.
- Assist chefs in managing kitchen inventory and stock.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning and report any issues.
Stocking & Organization
- Stock ingredients and supplies in proper storage areas.
- Organize food items in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas.
Dish Preparation
- Plate food and ensure that meals are prepared according to specifications before they are sent out.
Adhering to Safety Protocols
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
