Job summary

Region 12 Schools is seeking an Educational Tech Specialist to maintain student access, devices, and provide technology support for staff and students. The role involves performing specialized clerical and technical tasks to ensure reliable technology services across the district.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical training, strong knowledge of computer equipment, software, and website management, and the ability to work both independently and in a team to solve problems.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; technical training or Associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of design, operation, and repair of computer technology equipment, peripherals and systems.
• Knowledge of a wide range of software programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of the operations of a school district.
• Website development and management expertise.
• Strong computer skills with experience in MAC OS, IOS, MS Office, Google Workspace Suite, MDM and technology integration.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently in solving problems.
