Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a Cadet Shift Engineer to support daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and utilities.

You will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. The role offers hands-on engineering experience, involvement in 5S and continuous improvement programs, and opportunities to contribute to cost-reduction and energy-saving

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment and utilities; support preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide engineering support during production operations and coordinate with plant staff.
• Assist in root cause analysis and drive improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure safety, GMP, food safety, and environmental compliance; participate in safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Prepare maintenance reports and update CMMS/equipment history.
