Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
• 3–5 years of solid experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in food manufacturing
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting; knowledge in PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, and factory automation is a plus
• Trained in OSHS (Occupational Safety and Health Standards); strong technical and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, calibration, and installation of food manufacturing machinery.
• Perform fault diagnosis using PLC, HMI, and control systems, and implement equipment improvements or refurbishments to enhance productivity.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Oversee inventory, request machine parts, and coordinate attendance, shift schedules, and staff training.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team duties and ensure plant equipment reliability.

The Shift Engineer is responsible for supervising Maintenance Department staff and overseeing the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and electrical systems during the assigned shift. The role ensures compliance with engineering standards, supports operational efficiency, and promotes the safety and reliability of all plant equipment.

Your scope of responsibility shall include:
