Job summary

MHI Power Technical Services Corporation is seeking a Junior IT Staff in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This full-time role supports the IT team by providing first and second-level end-user assistance and by helping maintain networks, servers, and software deployments.

You will work in a Windows-based development environment, assist with infrastructure tasks, and contribute to process automation initiatives. The position offers on-site work and opportunities for growth within the IT department.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network protocols.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (ver. 11), including installation and basic administration.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, system diagnostics and basic IT infrastructure support.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and data protection principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, responding to IT help desk tickets and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, networks, servers and peripherals.
• Monitor network performance and system health to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Support the deployment and rollout of software updates, patches and system upgrades across the organization.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, incidents and resolutions.
• Assist with user account management, access controls and IT security protocols.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical problems.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
• Maintain IT facilities and ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement opportunities for workflow improvement and process automation.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications and tools within a Windows-based development environment.
• Apply basic to intermediate AI knowledge to support process optimization, automation, and business solutions.
