Job summary

About the role

MHI Power Technical Services Corporation is seeking a Junior Design Engineer (EE/ECE) to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Junior Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and optimisation of electrical and electronic systems and components. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment whilst working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to innovative technical solutions that drive our business forward.

What you'll be doing

• Perform factory inspection and testing of control systems and control panels.




• Prepare schematic and wiring diagrams for control systems and panels using EPLAN.




• Create and revise technical drawings related to control systems design.




• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure drawings and testing activities meet project requirements.




• Support the preparation and review of technical documentation for control systems.




• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation throughout the design and development lifecycle




• Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and engineering practices

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), or a related engineering discipline


• Strong foundational knowledge of electrical circuit theory, electronics, and electromagnetic principles

• Knowledge of relevant electrical and safety standards, codes, and regulations


• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and present technical information effectively

• Willingness to learn, develop technical expertise, and take on increasing levels of responsibility
