Job summary

Cloud Console seeks a Junior IT Support Engineer to assist end-users, monitor client environments, and support IT infrastructure with a focus on 24/7 operations.

The role includes troubleshooting, monitoring, backups, and collaboration with senior team members, with a flexible schedule and provided equipment.

Experience in small to medium businesses and strong communication skills are valued as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in technical tasks and client support.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Basic understanding of Server and Network administration.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients.
• Experience in supporting small to medium-sized businesses is advantageous.
• Familiarity with structured cabling is a bonus.
• Reliable internet connection (minimum speed: 10MBPS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-users with technical issues and provide troubleshooting support for workstations.
• Monitor client environments and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed time logs for all tasks performed.
• Assist with software patching, backups, alerts, antivirus updates, and hardware monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior team members to resolve client issues effectively.
• Maintain open communication with colleagues and team leaders.
• Support engineering teams and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Attend to call queues regularly and assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
