Job summary

RELX is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support IT solutions across multiple business units in a fast-paced environment. You will gather requirements, map processes, and translate needs into user stories for AI, RPA, and automation initiatives, under guidance from senior staff.

You will develop system specs, data flows, and documentation, collaborate with Operations and Technology teams, and help ensure timely delivery while upholding quality standards and stakeholders’ expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or Software Testing.
Process mapping, discovery, opportunity assessment, and requirements gathering.
Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications for AI, RPA, and automation initiatives.
Basic knowledge of SDLC and exposure to Power Platform, Python, SharePoint, AI, or Automation projects.
Familiarity with AI/Automation concepts such as workflow automation, prompt engineering, Copilot/ChatGPT Agents, or LLM projects.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Coordinate between Operations and Technology teams and support project delivery through documentation, testing, and user story creation.
Strong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Experience with reporting or e-learning tools (e.g., Easygenerator).
Strong learning agility and willingness to upskill in AI and Automation technologies.
For internal applicants, at least one DXO-related certification (e.g., Certified Automation Practitioner, Agile, Power BI, Lean Six Sigma certification, Python training, or other AI/Automation-related certifications.)

Document before and after process maps during current state analysis and process discovery sessions.
Pipeline Management and Qualification of AI and Automation projects.
Analyze and document business requirements and workflows.
Develop system specifications, process flows, and data conversion strategies.
Create user documentation for technical and functional use.
Adhere to established processes, protocols, and quality standards.
Manage stakeholder expectations and escape issues as needed.
Build trust with stakeholders through clear communication and reliable execution.
