Job summary

ReEx BPO Services is seeking an entry-level Bookkeeping Specialist in the Philippines. You will work under senior guidance to maintain ledgers, manage AP/AR, and perform reconciliations while receiving foundational training and mentorship.

The role aims to develop leadership potential as the finance operations grow. You will collaborate with clients and vendors, document SOPs, and build skills to mentor junior staff, all while working onsite in Bato, Camarines Sur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn cloud-based accounting platforms like QuickBooks and Xero.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ledgers and support daily transaction recording.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) workflows under senior guidance.
• Help perform regular bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations while learning to proactively spot and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in compiling data for clean monthly financial summaries and basic balance sheets.
• Coordinate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Shadow established workflows and help document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Build foundational skills to eventually mentor future junior staff.

About the role

• High accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must own a reliable personal laptop/PC with minimum specs: Core i5 processor or above with at least 8GB RAM
• Bonus: Certified Bookkeeper (CB) status or active QuickBooks ProAdvisor / Xero Advisor Certifications
