Job summary

Resonance Expounder is seeking an entry-level Bookkeeping Specialist in the Philippines. You'll perform core bookkeeping tasks under senior guidance while receiving training, mentorship, and leadership development as the financial operations expand.

You'll maintain ledgers, assist AP/AR, perform reconciliations, and help prepare monthly summaries. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and a pathway to mentor future staff as you grow.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or any related field.
• Eager and adaptable to learn cloud-based accounting platforms like QuickBooks and Xero.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must own a reliable personal laptop/PC with minimum specs: Core i5 processor or above with at least 8GB RAM
• Bonus: Certified Bookkeeper (CB) status or active QuickBooks ProAdvisor / Xero Advisor Certifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) workflows under senior guidance
• Help perform regular bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations while learning to proactively spot and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in compiling data for clean monthly financial summaries and basic balance sheets
• Coordinate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Shadow established workflows and help document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Build foundational skills to eventually mentor future junior staff
