Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Junior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, perform daily bookkeeping, and support month-end close processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with VAT and withholding tax in the Philippines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries and other accounting entries.
• Maintain records of accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, and cash.
• Review customer billings for accuracy and completeness.
• Review supplier invoices and payment requests.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in tax filings documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
