Job Summary

The Junior Accountant supports the finance and accounting department by performing basic accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, preparation of vouchers, encoding transactions, and assisting in financial reporting and tax filing.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, receivables, payables).
• Prepare vouchers, checks, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and petty cash reports.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
• Help in the preparation and filing of tax returns (BIR Forms 1601C, 2550M/Q, 1701/1702, etc.).
• Maintain organized records of financial documents.
• Assist in audits and other financial assessments.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the finance department.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
