Job summary

Artisan Cellars and Fine Foods, Inc. in Makati City is seeking a Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations and maintain accurate records. This full-time role offers an opportunity to grow in a collaborative finance team.

The ideal candidate has accounting or bookkeeping qualifications and 1–2 years of experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. You will assist with reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Commerce, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years bookkeeping or general accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Data Entry, Peachtree or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Strong numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently within a team.
• Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Recording daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases and expenses.
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoices and payments.
• Assisting with preparation and organization of financial documents and records.
• Maintaining accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Supporting monthly and quarterly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy.
• Assisting with general administrative finance duties as required.

About the role

You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of our organization, supporting day-to-day financial operations and contributing to the broader financial management of Artisan Cellars and Fine Foods, Inc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Recording daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses in accounting systems and ledgers
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice preparation and payment processing
• Assisting with the preparation and organization of financial documentation and supporting records

Job Qualifications:
