Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to provide day-to-day support for Active Directory and Windows Server environments.

You will work with senior engineers to administer user accounts, groups, and OUs, perform routine provisioning, and troubleshoot basic AD/DNS issues. Basic knowledge of Group Policy and PowerShell will be used to improve processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in IT Infra, Systems Admin, Service Desk, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Controller (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with DNS (must-have).
• Knowledge of FSMO roles (must-have).
• Basic AD administration: user/group/OU management and permissions.
• Basic Windows Server administration and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Basic knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).
• Basic troubleshooting, logging review, and escalation skills.
• Good communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of user accounts, groups, objects, and OUs.
• Perform routine provisioning, modification, access updates, and deactivation per procedures.
• Assist with Group Policy implementation and basic troubleshooting under guidance.
• Monitor AD and Windows Server health indicators and escalate as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic access, authentication, and policy-related issues; contribute to incident resolution.
• Support basic Windows Server administration and AD services.
• Assist with Entra ID/Azure AD hybrid identity administration and synchronization.
• Use PowerShell for admin tasks, reporting, monitoring, and process improvement.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams to resolve issues.

• Knowledge/experience in FSMO (Flexible Single Master Operations) (must-have)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration, including user, group, and computer account management, Organizational Units (OUs), and permissions and access management
• Basic understanding of Windows Server administration and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Basic knowledge of Group Policy (GPO) and policy application
• Basic troubleshooting skills, including reviewing logs, identifying common issues, following troubleshooting procedures, and escalating complex issues
• Good communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of user accounts, groups, computer objects, and Organizational Units (OUs)
• Perform routine account provisioning, modification, access updates, and account deactivation in accordance with established procedures
• Assist with Group Policy implementation, validation, and basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior administrators
• Monitor Active Directory and Windows Server health indicators and escalates issues when required
• Troubleshoot basic access, authentication, account, and policy-related issues and contribute to incident and service request resolution
• Support basic Windows Server administration and related Active Directory services
• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and hybrid identity administration and synchronization activities
• Use basic PowerShell commands/scripts for administrative tasks, reporting, monitoring, and process improvement
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, operational reports, and knowledge articles
• Work closely with senior engineers and other IT teams to resolve issues and support enterprise infrastructure operations
