About the job Sr. Active Directory Engineer

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Active Directory Engineer to lead and support our enterprise identity infrastructure, with a primary focus on Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient identity solutions across hybrid environments. This role regulates deep expertise in cloud-based identity services, with a strong understanding of modern authentication protocols and identity governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure AD/Entra ID solutions, including Conditioned Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Support hybrid identity environments, including Azure AD Connect and synchronization with on-premises AD.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce identity governance and access policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot identity-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives related to identity and access management.

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Familiarity with on-premises Active Directory architecture.
• Exposure to AWS Identity Services (IAM, SSO, Directory Service) and hybrid cloud identity integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with at least 2 years focused on Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or other automation tools to for identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure AD Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Governance.
• Knowledge of hybrid identity models and Azure AD Connect.
• Experience with Active Roles Servers for delegated administration and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
