Job summary

GECO Philippines, part of the GECO Asia Group of Companies, is hiring an Active Directory Administrator to support day-to-day identity and access management within a global IT infrastructure.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) and collaboration with experienced infrastructure engineers to strengthen Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, user provisioning, and Entra ID/Azure AD skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with Group Policy and Windows Server administration.
• Basic scripting using PowerShell.
• Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Willingness to learn hybrid identity technologies like Azure AD Connect.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of Active Directory objects (users, groups, computers, OUs).
• Provision, modify, password reset, and deactivate user accounts.
• Assist with Group Policy implementation and troubleshooting.
• Support access-related incidents and service requests per procedures.
• Monitor AD and Windows infrastructure health.
• Assist with Windows Server administration and related tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Follow security, change management, and ITSM processes.
• Support monthly activity and service reporting.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to grow skills in enterprise identity.

We're Hiring: Active Directory Administrator

We are looking for a Active Directory Administrator to support day-to-day identity and access management within a global IT infrastructure environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, user and access management, and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.

You will work closely with experienced infrastructure engineers while developing your technical skills and contributing to reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.

Deployment Setup

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration of Active Directory user, group, computer, and organizational unit (OU) objects.
• Perform user account provisioning, modification, password resets, and deactivation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, service desk, or technical support is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Understanding of user, group, computer, and OU management.
• Knowledge of Group Policy concepts.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with DNS and DHCP is an advantage.
• Basic troubleshooting skills, including reviewing logs and following standard troubleshooting procedures.
• Basic exposure to PowerShell for administrative tasks or reporting.
• Awareness of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD concepts.
• Willingness to learn hybrid identity and synchronization technologies such as Azure AD Connect.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business users.
• Strong interest in developing a career in IT infrastructure, identity, and systems administration.
