• With relevant work experience in Automotive Industry.
• Possesses TESDA NC II in Automotive Servicing.
• Has a valid non-professional driver’s license.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Assigns jobs to technicians and explains the work required.
• Supervises technicians to ensure customer needs are met and repairs are correct the first time.
• Coaches and trains technicians.
• Plans and manages inventory, supplies, and equipment; oversees shop safety and cleanup.
• Analyzes productivity and efficiency of technicians.
• Prepares daily productivity and efficiency reports for the Service Manager.
• Monitors workflow in service department and intervenes to ensure completion.
• Monitors workshop loading and work in progress.
• Provides technical information and assists technicians with difficult diagnoses.
• Test drives vehicles and conducts quality checks on repairs.

This position exists to ensure customer retention and profitability of the company by meeting customer-focused sales standards thereby ensuring the attainment and fulfillment of the LausGroup corporate mission and vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assigns jobs to technicians and explains the work required.
2. Supervises technicians to ensure that customers’ needs are met and vehicles are fixed right the first time.
3. Coaches and trains technicians.
4. Plans and manages inventory, supplies, and equipment, and oversees safety and clean up shop.
5. Analyzes productivity and efficiency of technicians.
6. Prepares a daily productivity and efficiency report to be submitted to the Service Manager.
7. Monitors flow of work in the service department and intervenes as needed to ensure work is accomplished.
8. Monitors workshop loading and work in progress.
9. Provides technical information and assists technicians with difficult diagnoses and assists service advisers with difficult customer concerns.
10. Test drives vehicles and conducts quality checks on repairs.
11. Coordinates with other dealership departments, vendors etc. to ensure effectiveness of service process.
12. Communicates technical concerns to customers.
13. Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
