Job summary

LausGroup is seeking an Automotive Technician to support the service department by overseeing technicians' work, ensuring repairs are done right the first time, and meeting service targets. The role requires a BS in Industrial Technology (Automotive) and 3-5 years of experience with a TESDA NC II certificate.

Candidate must have a valid non-professional driver’s license and be prepared to work onsite in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of BS Industrial Technology, Major in Automotive.
• With at least 3-5 years experience as Automotive Technician.
• With TESDA NC II Certificate.
• Possesses a valid non-professional driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees technicians' work to ensure customers’ needs are met and vehicles are fixed right the first time.
• Ensures that the target labor sold hours are met in coordination with the Service Manager.
• Coordinates revisions of service contents, additional repairs, and changes in the committed time.
• Oversees the technician’s work bay's cleanliness before actual repair.
• Monitors the flow of work in the workshop and intervenes as needed to ensure work is accomplished on time.
• Provides technical information and assists technicians with difficult diagnoses and assists service advisers with difficult customer concerns.
• Conducts quality checks on repair; and test drives vehicles if necessary.
