Job summary

LausGroup is seeking an Automotive service technician to support the service department in repairing and servicing vehicles in line with repair orders and company mission. You will perform scheduled maintenance and ensure vehicles remain in top condition, while optimizing productivity and using standard labor times.

The role requires a BS in Automotive technology, TESDA NC II certification, and a valid non-professional driver’s license.

• Graduate of BS Industrial Technology, Major in Automotive.
• TESDA NC II Certificate required.
• Valid non-professional driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance checkups (1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 km) and routine services to keep vehicles in good condition.
• Assess productivity and recommend additional services to improve vehicle condition under service.
• Use resources efficiently and complete repairs or services within standard labor times.
• Use measuring instruments properly for accurate servicing.
• Safely handle and store basic hand tools provided by the company.

This position exists to support the service department in its various functions and targets by performing needed repairs or services as indicated in the repair order, thereby contributing to the attainment and fulfillment of the LausGroup corporate mission and vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs periodic maintenance services such as 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 20,000-kilometer checkups and subsequent regular checkups, all for the purpose of maintaining the units in good operating condition.
2. Ensures productivity and recommends additional services that will help improve the condition of the vehicle unit under service.
3. Uses available resources efficiently and conducts repairs or services within the standard labor time given per job.
4. Uses measuring instruments properly.
5. Ensures proper safekeeping and use of the basic hand tools given by the company.

Core Competencies

1. Graduate of BS Industrial Technology, Major in Automotive.
2. With TESDA NC II Certificate.
3. Possesses a valid non-professional driver’s license.
