Job Description

This position exists to support the Service department in its various functions and targets through effective supervision on the activities of the department, more particularly on the attainment of Labor Sales by the Service Advisors and the overall traffic flow in the Reception Area thereby contributing to the attainment and fulfillment of the LausGroup corporate mission and vision

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Oversees the overall performance of the Service Advisors in terms of meeting their monthly targets.
• 2. Monitors traffic flow in the Reception Area and driveway for ease of receiving and loading.
• 3. Eliminates unreasonable waiting time for customers in the Reception Area.
• 4. Monitors time promises and fixed quoted prices given by the Service Advisors to all customers accommodated for the day.
• 5. Conducts a daily review of units received by the Service Advisors to minimize tasks with ‘work-in-progress’ status in the workshop.
• 6. Uses an effective way of determining low performers in the reception and guides Service Advisors on a better way of doing the assigned tasks.
• 7. Prioritizes concerns indicated in the Service Advisors’ Monitoring Sheet by providing utmost urgency to each vehicle in the workshop.

Core Competencies

• 1. Graduate of any four-year course. Preferably a licensed mechanical engineer.
• 2. Has gained 5 years solid work experience in the company’s business/industry, and possesses a strong/keen business sense.
• 3. Has excellent organization, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• 4. Knowledgeable in the use of office based applications, internet, web browsing and on-line services.
• 5. Possesses a valid non-professional driver’s license.
