Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a Java Trading Engineer in the Philippines to build and optimize core trading systems supporting spot and futures trading. You will work from business requirements through implementation to ensure stability, security, and performance of the trading platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Java development experience.
• At least 1 year of trading system development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals, concurrency, and JVM tuning.
• Familiarity with Netty, Disruptor, Kafka, Redis, and MySQL in trading contexts.
• Experience with order books and matching algorithms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core modules of the trading system using Java.
• Optimize performance and reduce latency in high-concurrency environments.
• Design distributed trading architectures for high availability.
• Implement trading rules such as spot T+0 and margin mechanisms.
• Support API development with the quantitative trading team.
• Participate in monitoring, disaster recovery planning, and risk reduction.
