Job summary

TP ICAP is seeking a Back-End Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs supporting high-volume, data-intensive environments. You will collaborate with architects, principal engineers, and trading SMEs to deliver mission-critical systems end-to-end.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in latency-sensitive trading tech, strong C#/.NET, observability, and cloud-native architecture.

Qualifications

Expertise in modern .NET technologies and C#; Java or similar OO languages acceptable.
Experience implementing observability for distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
Knowledge of distributed messaging and caching technologies (e.g., Solace, Redis).
5–7 years of hands-on experience in latency-sensitive front-office trading systems (OMS, Matching, Execution).
Strong background in distributed, event-driven, cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs.
Collaborate with Architects, Principal Engineers, and SMEs to deliver high-performance systems end-to-end.
Contribute to engineering deliverables across the full lifecycle: design, test, deploy, and production support.
Lead POCs, technical evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
