DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides on-site and remote support to IT related issues and requests of end-users.
• Prepares, sets up, burns in and deploys IT-related equipment.
• Provides support in application testing and evaluation.
• Carries out application installation according to documented standards
• Isolates, recreates and implements solutions in problems to prevent downtime in user’s productivity.
• Documents properly the details of incidents and logs the solutions applied in the ticketing system.
• Supports records keeper in the inventory of IT-related equipment and software.
• Conducts evaluation of hardware to determine if it is subject for repair or replacement.
• Carries out preventive and predictive maintenance of IT-related equipment.
• Replaces defective units with good one if not repairable.
• Implements desktop group policy settings.
• Maintains IT-related equipment in training and conference rooms.
• Deploys and maintains communications cables.
• Troubleshoots cable problems.
• Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
• Ensures compliance to company rules and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably related to Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Open to fresh graduates, with or without related technical experience in delivering technical support functions.
• At least 3 months of related experience is a plus.
• Willing to work onsite, including holidays and weekends.
