Overview
The IT Support Staff is responsible for providing hands-on technical support, maintaining the company’s IT systems, managing the company website, and implementing basic automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
As the first dedicated IT employee of Pet Partner Philippines, this role will help establish foundational IT systems, support clinic operations, maintain digital platforms, and introduce simple technology solutions to streamline processes.
This is a staff-level, execution-focused role with strong operational and technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Infrastructure: Provide on-site/remote IT support, troubleshoot devices and networks, maintain connectivity, and manage issue logs.
- Website Management: Build and maintain the company website, update services/branch info, integrate booking/payment systems, ensure uptime, security, and SEO.
- Process Automation & Digital Tools: Identify repetitive tasks, create forms, dashboards, automated reports, and support POS data integration.
- Data & Systems Management: Manage cloud storage, backups, user access, and digital patient records.
- IT Security & Privacy: Implement antivirus, password policies, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
- Asset & Inventory Management: Track IT equipment, tag/document assets, recommend upgrades.
- Vendor & Technology Support: Coordinate with service providers, source quotations, and evaluate new tools for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in IT support/system administration; website management; basic automation. Fresh grads with strong web portfolios may be considered.
- Technical Skills: Website building (WordPress/other CMS), HTML/CSS basics, domain/hosting management, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, networking, Excel/Sheets automation, APIs/integrations (advantage), data backup systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability; Organized and process-oriented; Able to explain technical matters clearly; Proactive in suggesting improvements; High sense of data confidentiality; Able to work independently (first IT hire).
