Job summary

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking an IT Analyst to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This full-time role supports our technology infrastructure, end-user computing, and security systems across the organization.

You will install and maintain hardware, software, networks, and CCTV equipment, provide user support, manage accounts, and ensure system security. A 2+ year background in IT is preferred, with relevant certifications considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk operations, or systems administration roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency with ticketing systems and asset management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud services and virtualisation technologies is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware-related problems, including computer peripherals and connectivity issues.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment and accessories.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty services with vendors when necessary.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications.
• Provide technical assistance to users experiencing software-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to authorized applications and systems.
• Assist with software installation, licensing, updates, and compatibility issues.
• Ensure computers have appropriate security updates and antivirus protection.
• Monitor and troubleshoot internet connectivity and network-related issues.
• Diagnose problems involving routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, LAN connections, and network cables.
• Assist in maintaining reliable network and internet connectivity across the organization.
• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for service interruptions, repairs, and technical concerns.
• Perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting, including IP addressing and connectivity testing.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
• Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, storage, and network connectivity.
• Ensure CCTV systems are operational and properly recording.
• Review and retrieve CCTV footage when authorized.
• Coordinate with security personnel and vendors regarding CCTV-related concerns.
• Maintain proper documentation of CCTV equipment, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees.
• Respond to IT service requests and technical incidents in a timely manner.
• Identify the root cause of technical problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel or external vendors when required.
• Provide basic technical guidance and training to users.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and recurring IT issues.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
• Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of network equipment, IT assets, software, and system configurations.
• Assist with data backup, system recovery, and IT security procedures.
• Help implement and maintain company IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Ensure IT systems and equipment are used in accordance with company policies
