Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage Windows Server environments, AD, Entra ID, and VMware/Hyper-V across cloud and on-premises setups.

You will monitor performance and security using RMM tools, deploy patches, oversee backups, and test disaster recovery. The role includes developing automation scripts in PowerShell and Python to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, VMware/Hyper-V, and Azure.
• Familiarity with RMM tools (ConnectWise Automate, Datto) and PSA platforms.
• Industry credentials like CompTIA or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, VMware/Hyper-V and Azure.
• Monitor server health and network alerts across client accounts using RMM tools.
• Deploy patches, manage backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Develop PowerShell/Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and ticketing.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for complex issues.
