Job summary

Tiedra Ventures Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on IT System and Network Administrator to join our operations.

You will handle network configuration, server and system administration, IT infrastructure management, and proactive troubleshooting across on-site facilities. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or related field, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, and security controls.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
• Proficient in hardware, software, network, and system troubleshooting.
• Willing to conduct field visits and provide technical support when required.
• Licensed/with relevant IT certifications is an advantage.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. With 2–3 years of relevant experience in system and network administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support.

• Knowledgeable in network configuration, server and system administration, and IT infrastructure management.

• Proficient in hardware, software, network, and system troubleshooting.

• With basic to intermediate programming and scripting knowledge for system support, automation, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in network monitoring, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.

• Capable of managing user accounts, access permissions, system configurations, backups, and security controls.

• Able to troubleshoot and resolve system, network, connectivity, and software issues with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge in remote access and system monitoring, particularly for solar PV or other remotely monitored systems, is an advantage.

• Familiarity with database management, cloud-based systems, FTP, web hosting, and server management is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Proactive, organized, and able to respond to urgent technical concerns in a timely manner.

• Willing to conduct field visits and provide technical support when required.

• Licensed/with relevant IT certifications is an advantage.
