Job summary

San Miguel Global Power in the Philippines is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the corporate IT team. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user issues to minimize downtime across offices.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT-related fields and at least two years of experience; knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic server tasks is desirable. You will document issues and coordinate with vendors, delivering timely support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Two years of relevant experience in IT support, helpdesk, or network support.
• Proficient in diagnosing hardware, software, printers, network, email, and user concerns.
• Windows OS, Microsoft Office, email, and basic server/network administration knowledge.
• Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching; CCNA certification is an advantage.
• Cybersecurity practices including endpoint protection and data privacy awareness.
• Experience with Active Directory/Microsoft 365 and file permissions an advantage.
• Basic backup/recovery concepts and IT documentation.
• Familiarity with PHP, HTML, Visual Basic, and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within IT team.
• Adherence to safety rules and company policies.
