Job summary

Metro Tiles Inc. seeks an on-site IT Specialist in Quezon City to provide end-user support, manage servers and networks, and maintain cybersecurity measures. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and at least 3 years of IT experience, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

You will implement backups, create user guides, and assist in asset documentation to ensure availability and security of IT resources. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking and IT troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows, Office 365 and common business applications.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Manage data backup procedures and test disaster recovery plans. Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
• Create user guides and documentation for common technical issues.
• Conduct regular security audits and system backups.
• Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance IT infrastructure and processes.
• Schedule periodic maintenance for hardware and software
• Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance their technical skills and awareness. Provide guidance on best practices for using IT resources.
• Handle enrollment of employees in the biometrics system.
• Create official company email for newly on boarded employees.
• Attends to other related concerns and performs other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other common business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
