Casto Travel Philippines, Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist to keep our technology, systems, and users running smoothly. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks, support end-users, and manage IT peripherals.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in CS/IT, 1–4 years’ IT experience, and solid communication skills. The role offers hands-on problem solving, onboarding support, and opportunities to contribute to IT projects.

Qualifications

We're Looking for Someone With:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
• 1–4 years of experience in IT Support, Network/System Administration, Database Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and devices
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Internet Security, Avaya, and Fortinet Firewall
• Familiarity with Vuesion is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSA, TESDA NC II, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
• Flexible and willing to support various IT and departmental requirements

Your Role Includes:

• Responding to user inquiries and providing timely technical support through email, phone, and in-person assistance
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize disruption to business operations
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, handheld devices, software, and other IT peripherals
• Setting up new user accounts and supporting employee onboarding, including IT resources and access permissions
• Troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with IT team members to resolve complex concerns
• Escalating issues to the appropriate team or support level when necessary
• Maintaining accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and user requests through the help desk ticketing system
• Monitoring and maintaining IT hardware and software inventory
• Ensuring IT assets are properly documented, tracked, and accounted for
• Assisting with the implementation and rollout of IT projects and initiatives
• Providing technical guidance and basic training to end-users to help them effectively utilize company IT resources
• Supporting and maintaining network and system infrastructure
• Assisting with IT security measures and ensuring compliance with company IT policies and security guidelines
• Helping safeguard company systems and information against potential security threats
• Staying updated on emerging IT trends, technologies, and best practices
• Identifying opportunities to improve IT support processes and overall user experience
• Collaborating with other departments to address technology-related concerns and support business operations
• Performing other IT-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
