Job summary

ICTSI is seeking an IT Specialist to build a foundation across Global IT Infrastructure and Port Terminal Operations. Entry-level role focusing on end-user computing, Microsoft 365, and standard workplace applications, with progression into network, Wi‑Fi and firewall troubleshooting under guidance.

You'll gain exposure to multiple infrastructure technologies while contributing to incident resolution, documentation, and continuous service improvements, following security and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience or internships are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, mobile devices and hardware.
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi and VPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line support for end-user devices, Microsoft 365, printers, meeting-room technology and standard business applications.
• Prepare, deploy, maintain and retire laptops, desktops and mobile devices in line with company standards.
• Record, prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests; document fixes and elevate issues with clear technical information.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP and connectivity issues using approved tools and procedures.
• Assist with firewall and network troubleshooting, including reviewing connectivity paths, rules and logs under supervision.
• Support asset inventory, patching, endpoint security, access management and other infrastructure housekeeping activities.
• Work with terminal IT teams and vendors during incidents, maintenance and small technology deployments.
• Complete a supervised terminal-yard rotation to learn operational workflows, safety requirements and the impact of IT services on terminal operations.
• Contribute to knowledge articles, checklists and continuous service improvements while following security, change and safety processes.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience, internship or hands-on technical support experience.
• Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and computer hardware.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and VPN concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Clear written and verbal English communication and a service-oriented attitude.
• Curious, practical and willing to learn by doing.
• Communicate well with users, ask questions when unsure and take ownership of tasks through to completion.
