Job summary

Adec-Innovations in the Philippines is seeking an IT Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver cross‑functional data‑products, coordinating between operations, engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.

You will manage ETL, geocoding, and GIS data updates, aligning PH team efforts with the US team to drive productivity and quality in client data management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience; GIS experience is a plus.
• Proficient in PM methodologies and principles.
• PM certifications (PMP, CAPM, Agile) are a plus.
• Experience with GIS datasets, property data, and SaaS APIs.
• Familiarity with Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com.
• Experience with GIS/Geocoding tools (HERE, ARCGIS).

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving property records, government and third‑party data sources.
• Oversee data normalization, validation, and enrichment workflows.
• Coordinate SaaS or data-delivery platforms (APIs, dashboards, reports).
• Ensure data quality standards, SLAs, and delivery timelines.
• Lead risk, issue & change management and maintain documentation.
• Serve as liaison for ETL, geocoding, and GIS data updates.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by managing production schedules and deliverables.
• Drive productivity and quality targets across PH and US teams.
• Identify conflicting requirements and manage stakeholder conflicts.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and perform RCA/post-mortems.
• Report updates to PH and US stakeholders in regular meetings.
• Coach and guide the team toward defined goals.
• Identify risks and plan mitigation actions.
• Report security incidents or weaknesses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Role/Position Summary:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cross-functional projects that support the acquisition, integration, quality, and delivery of property-related data products. This role acts as a coordinator between operations, engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

This role is key in managing the expectations of the US team with regard to clientdata management, including but not limited to – ETL, Database/Data updates, data processing time/productivity, quality/accuracy of geocoding.

The IT Project Manager should be extremely comfortable working with team members across the business units (US stakeholders, solutions development, data, app support and to some extent, infrastructure groups). Crucial to the role is a positive outlook in order to inspire/motivate team members and to continuously provide recommendations on process improvements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Manage Projects involving the following:

• Property records (environmental, land use, class codes, etc.)
• Government and third-party data sources
• Data normalization, validation, and enrichment workflows
• SaaS or data-delivery platforms (APIs, dashboards, reports)
• Ensure data quality standards, SLAs, and delivery timelines are met

2. Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints early
• Proactively resolve issues or escalate when necessary
• Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with business priorities
• Maintain clear documentation of decisions, assumptions, and changes

3. Serves as a liaison and primary interface (both internal and external) for works related to ETL, geocoding, and GIS data updates.

4. Ensures customer satisfaction by managing the details of overall production/project schedules, and deliverables.

5. Drives the PH team and aligns with US team to achieve productivity and quality targets.

6. Identifies and resolves conflicting requirements; and adeptly deals with differing opinions and conflicts within the PH team and with the US team.

7. Collaborate with respective teams in managing and resolving issues, including root-cause analysis (RCA) and post-mortem reports.

8. Reports periodic updates to stakeholders (PH and US) during regular meetings.

9. Coaches, motivates and guides the team to ensure alignment with defined goals.

10. Identifies risks and works with the team to plan for risk mitigation and actions.

11. Reports security incidents and / or any identified security weaknesses.

12. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a 4-year course preferably related to Geography/Geospatial Information Science or Information Technology or GIS Data Engineering
• At least four (4) years of relevant project management experience; having worked with GIS systems is a plus
• Proficient in Project Management Methodologies and Principles
• Project Management, SCRUM and similar certification is a plus
• Experience in property data, real estate due diligence, environmental data, GIS, or compliance
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, or data pipelines
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar certification
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar
• Working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
• Experience with GIS/Geocoding tools (HERE, ARCGIS, etc.)
