In the Philippines, Hubexo operates under the legal entity BCI Central (Philippines) Inc. The Candidate will draw site boundaries, extract and analyze data from various sources, produce reports and dashboards, and support colleagues with data needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage geospatial datasets for planning and research activities.
• Extract, validate, and integrate spatial and non-spatial data from multiple databases and sources to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct spatial and statistical analyses to support decision-making and planning.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders across the organization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for GIS issues and resolve data quality concerns.
• Perform audits and QA checks on geospatial data and outputs.
• Support economists, researchers, clients with ad hoc spatial analysis.
• Monitor new GIS developments and manage relationships with data providers.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate

Drawing site boundaries, maintaining geospatial data and polygons, extracting and analyzing data from various sources, producing reports and dashboards, providing ad hoc analysis, and supporting colleagues and business areas with data needs.

Key Responsibilities

GIS Research & Data Management

• Create, maintain, and manage geospatial datasets, including site boundaries, polygons, and mapping layers for planning and research activities.
• Extract, validate, and integrate spatial and non-spatial data from multiple databases, third-party sources, and content management systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct spatial analysis, statistical analysis, and trend identification to support strategic decision-making, research initiatives, and business planning.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for GIS and mapping-related issues, investigating and resolving location inaccuracies and data quality concerns.
• Perform regular audits and quality assurance checks on geospatial data, mapping outputs, and colleague work to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
• Support economists, researchers, clients, and other business functions by providing ad hoc spatial analysis, data extraction, and research support.
• Monitor and evaluate new developments using GIS and mapping technologies, while managing relationships with third-party location data providers.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required by research and business leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with geospatial data, including polygons, geocodes, site boundaries, and spatial datasets, with the ability to create, edit, and maintain spatial data.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent geospatial platforms.
• Experience creating and managing spatial features, including polygons, linear maps, and buffer zones.
• Strong data management, data creation, and spatial data maintenance skills.
• Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and transforming data into actionable insights.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Prior experience conducting data research, data extraction, and analysis from multiple sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and demonstrate a high level of reliability and self-motivation.
• Experience supporting business, research, planning, or market intelligence functions through GIS analysis.
• Experience working with UK/US & ROI planning, development, or location-based datasets.
• Experience performing data quality assurance, auditing, and peer review of GIS outputs.
