Job summary

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is seeking a GIS-focused professional to support the ACT-GIS program in Metro Manila. You will georeference, correct spatial data, and manage meter and premise information within the GIS database.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform activities relative to ACT-GIS Program:
• Geo-referencing and Spatial correction of meter and premise assemblies
• Linear of Meter Service Connection (MSC) and House Service Connection (HSC)
• Meter and Premise data.
• Updating and populating of attribute data
• Accurate Data Management: input the reviewed verified as-built data into the GIS Database
• Perform comprehensive checks on attribute data for completeness using as-built drawings
• Conduct spatial accuracy checks to ensure newly digitized or updated features align correctly with as-built drawings
• Generate reports for each accomplished contract of as-built drawings with discrepancy log detailing identified errors and resolutions
• Quality checking of data and provide the summary report of as-built completed and findings
• Asset Inspection
• Review submitted asset inspection reports.
• ROW Documentation & Validation
• Scan and encode hardcopies of property documents (MOA, LOA, TCT/OCT, etc.
• Review and digitize facilities boundaries based on the as-built drawings
• Plot lot boundaries based on TCT/OCT.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Graduate of Engineering degree or any four (4) year course with strong background in GIS.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS software is an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Newly graduate or 1 to 2 years of experience in GIS related.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in GIS software environments is an advantage.
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong customer focus, and ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and technical competency related to the role.
